ADR 0012 — Density names: compact | cosy | large

Context

Three density vocabularies existed: the contract (compact | comfy | cozy), ADR 0009 (compact | comfortable | spacious) and lib/density.ts. DESIGN.md is the token authority.

Decision

The one vocabulary is compact | cosy | large (DESIGN.md frontmatter density: cosy). Code: ddx-web/src/components/primitives/switchers.ts (DENSITY_OPTIONS), the settings ui.density value, the density cookie and data-density on <html>.

Consequences

comfy / cozy survive only as input aliases in lib/theme/density.ts (toDensity()) and as legacy CSS selectors in globals.css (DESIGN.md E5). No new code writes them.
Every density prop in the inventory uses the three names above.
